When Catchpoint Philadelphia decided to transform their wrestling training center, they had one goal in mind: to create a memorable, visually impactful experience that would serve as the backdrop to their main training ring.
Founded by WWE Superstar Drew Gulak in 2023, Catchpoint Philadelphia was built with a mission to provide the best resources in a safe haven for aspiring pros to hone their craft and reach their goals in the world of professional wrestling. They envisioned a space that not only showcased their brand but also amplified the energy and enthusiasm of their community. With this in mind, we at Sunrise Signs teamed up with Catchpoint to deliver a stunning brand experience that truly took their facility to the next level.
The Vision: A Memorable Brand Statement
The owner of Catchpoint Philadelphia wanted more than just a functional training space. He wanted to craft a “wow” factor that would impress both athletes and visitors alike, while also serving as a striking backdrop for social media and marketing purposes. With this vision, we set out to create an environment that truly embodied the passion and energy of professional wrestling.
Catchpoint Philadelphia offers several programs and classes, led by Drew Gulak alongside veteran wrestlers "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams and Wheeler Yuta, to teach people from any background the ins and outs of pro wrestling. Their community is built on values of commitment, resilience, and bold expression—core elements that we wanted to infuse into every part of the design. After brainstorming, we came up with a concept that would tie together both functionality and brand storytelling: a wrestling-themed wall wrap that enveloped the training ring and an LED-lit brushed aluminum logo sign that would shine as the focal point of the training center.
The Execution: Turning Ideas Into Reality
Our collaboration with Catchpoint began with a deep dive into their brand identity. It was clear that Catchpoint’s community was all about commitment, resilience, and bold expression—core elements that we wanted to infuse into every part of the design. The wall wrap featured bold, wrestling-inspired visuals that encapsulated the spirit of the sport, while the LED-lit logo sign added a modern and sleek touch, representing the community's drive to stand out and make an impact.
The combination of the bold wall graphics and the stunning logo sign was designed not just to enhance the space aesthetically but to create a brand landmark—a place where Catchpoint athletes could feel the pride of being part of something bigger.
The Impact: Pride, Enthusiasm, and Social Media Success
The completed brand wall has become a focal point for all of Catchpoint's social media and marketing collateral. Whether it's an intense training session or a spotlight feature on an athlete, the backdrop of the branded wall has added an unmistakable signature to Catchpoint's content. The vibrant visuals and the eye-catching LED sign have created a memorable impression for visitors and enhanced the overall brand presence both in-person and online.
But perhaps more importantly, the new signage display has produced a sense of pride and enthusiasm within the Catchpoint community. It's more than just a wall—it's a testament to their journey, their passion for wrestling, and their dedication to excellence. The brand experience we created has elevated their training space into a true symbol of what Catchpoint stands for.
